The "Rei Cover/WPCD Type" complies with the Japan Waterworks Steel Pipe Association standards (WSP012 Water Supply Coated Steel Pipe Joint Coat). It is an anti-corrosion material with extremely excellent performance!! It consists of a cross-linked polyethylene base material that shrinks when heated with a propane torch, combined with an adhesive material from the mastic coating. Additionally, it includes sealing material from the rubber mastic used with the heat shrink sheet and closure patches that bond the sheets together.
